मसूरी की दूसरी सबसे ऊंची चोटी पर रोप-वे द्वारा जाने का आनंद लें। यहां पैदल रास्ते से भी पहुंचा जा सकता है, यह रास्ता माल रोड पर कचहरी के निकट से जाता है और यहां पहुंचने में लगभग 20 मिनट का समय लगता है। रोप-वे की लंबाई 400 मीटर है। सबसे ज्यादा इसकी सैर में जो रोमांच है, वह अविस्मरणीय है।
गन हिल से हिमालय पर्वत श्रृंखला अर्थात् बंदरपंच, श्रीकांता, पिठवाड़ा और गंगोत्री समूह आदि के सुंदर दृश्य देखे जा सकते हैं. साथ ही मसूरी और दून-घाटी का विहंगम दृश्य भी यहां से देखे जा सकते हैं। आजादी से पूर्व के वर्षों में इस पहाड़ी के ऊपर रखी तोप प्रतिदिन दोपहर को चलाई जाती थी ताकि लोग अपनी घड़ियां सैट कर लें, इसी कारण इस स्थान का नाम गन हिल पड़ा.
